Meet Dr. Choi
Hi! I’m Dr. Demian Choi and I would like to be the first person to welcome you to Prizm Dental. Getting the opportunity to open my very own dental office is an accumulation of numerous experiences and it is truly a dream come true. I was born and raised in West Los Angeles and went to college up north to study Political Science and Economics at UC Berkeley. From there, I worked various jobs until I finally decided to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist. I attended Loma Linda University (School of Dentistry) and received additional training at St. Joseph’s Hospital (Syracuse, NY) in a general practice residency. My wife and I stayed in Upstate New York for several more years where I worked as an associate dentist. In 2020, we relocated back to sunny Southern California where I continued to work at a well-established dental office.
Our goal at Prizm Dental is to change your perspective on dentistry. The majority of the population has dental anxiety due to previous traumatic experiences, fear of pain, or loss of control. I want you to know that it is normal to have dental anxiety. However, I am confident that our team at Prizm Dental will treat you like family and make you feel more comfortable than you have ever been at the dental office. I pride myself on being very transparent and educating you about all of the options for your situation. My goal is for you to learn about your own oral health and to make well-informed decisions.
When the workday ends, I go home to my wife and my dog. I love relaxing at home, spending time with my family and friends, and watching/playing almost every sport. Growing up in Los Angeles, I am a huge Lakers, Dodgers, and Chargers fan.
