What Are Porcelain Veneers?

Porcelain veneers are a versatile cosmetic dental treatment that can address a range of concerns, including:

Getting Dental Veneers
The process of getting porcelain veneers typically requires two or three appointments. During the first appointment, Dr. Choi will assess your teeth and discuss your goals for treatment. If porcelain veneers are the right solution for you, Dr. Choi will begin by removing a thin layer of enamel from the front of your teeth to make room for the veneers. Next, he will take digital impressions of your teeth, which will be used to create your custom-made veneers. You may receive temporary veneers to protect your teeth while your permanent veneers are being made.
We may even be able to have you wear a “try-in” set that allows you to preview the proposed veneer design.
Once your permanent porcelain veneers are ready, you will return to Prizm Dental for the second appointment. Dr. Choi will remove the temporary veneers and carefully place the permanent veneers over your teeth. He will check the fit and color of your veneers to ensure that they look and feel natural. Once you are both satisfied with the placement of your veneers, Dr. Choi will bond them to your teeth using a strong dental adhesive.
